Hello!

Wow.....I knew it had been a long time since we've posted, but I had no idea it was so long ago.  The last time was August, 2013!

Well, this is Lisa, and I have some exciting news.......I recently became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I had my first monthly stamp camp at my house on Thursday and want to share some pics of the cards we made and my wonderful friends.

I designed/CASE'd three cards and one Easter project.  The three cards were made using stamp sets and DSP from the Occasions catalog.  Here they are.

The first card was made using the Vivid Vases set.....one of my very favorites.  This one is an almost direct CASE of this card by Ilina Crouse.  She is so! talented.

The base is crumb cake CS, the layer is also crumb cake CS stamped with the Hardwood background stamp.  Vivid Vases was stamped with black staz-on ink.  The flowers were colored with various SU! markers, and the vases were colored with a blender pen using crumb cake ink.  The 5/8" chevron ribbon was tied with twine.  All layers were popped up with dimensionals.  I love this card!

The next card(s) was made using the petite petals punch, rich razzleberry CS, ribbon and ink, Perfectly Penned stamp set, and pearls.  It was inspired by this card I saw on Pinterest.

I forgot to take a picture of the card using Retro Fresh DSP and Another Great Year stamp set.  It went in the mail this morning to my husband's cousin, so no picture of that one.

The Easter project was a Cadbury egg holder.  I followed directions posted by the unparalleled Mary Fish.  So stinkin' cute!  It was made using the scalloped tag topper, pool party CS and ribbon, twine, certainly celery and whisper white CS, several punches, the new and awesome fringe scissors, Stampin' pastels to color the ears and tail, Teeny, Tiny Wishes stamp set, and a fuzz ball bunny butt.

And last, but certainly not least, here is a picture of the girls hard at work (or not) on their projects.

What a fun evening........I can't wait to do it again next month!

In other news, I'm starting an SU! program thru a local recreation council.  My first workshop/stamp camp will be on Saturday, May 17th at Honeygo Community Center from 10am to 12pm.  We will make eight cards (two each of four designs).  All supplies will be provided.  The cost is only $20.  If you are interested or would like more information, you can email me at boblisa118@verizon.net.  I would love!! to see you there!!

'Til next time (and I hope it won't be so long) -
Lisa
