Ocean City Teaser......Stinking cute

How stinking cute is this card.  The stamp is an Impression obsession.  Love their stuff.  This is just one of the stamps for the Ocean City Shoebox swap in November 2-3-4, 2012.  There is still time to get a spot.

A couple cards

Hi there!

I hope everyone is well.  I have a few cards to share with you today.  Now that my life is calming down a little (a very little), I'm trying to do a little more stamping.  With OC coming up and my new house projected to be finished late October, I've got to get moving on those projects before I have to pack up my stamp room.

Anyway, here are the cards.  The first ones are using a die cut from PTI.  I put different, similar colored ribbons under the negative part of the die cut and adhered it to the back of the layer, then used dimensionals to pop that layer on the card front.  (Does that make any sense??)  I saw this idea somewhere out there and thought it's a great idea to use up some ribbon scraps.  The sentiments are both PTI as well.

The other four cards I got inspiration from someone's blog but have no idea whose.  I'm trying to be more CAS, but it's hard for me.  White space seems to make me itch.  :0)  These turned out pretty well, though, and went together in less than half an hour.  For me, that is lightning fast!  I over-think and second guess every choice, so it ends up taking forever to produce one card.  Here they are.....

The rhinestones on the calypso coral flower cards are clear rhinestones that I colored with Copics.  I love that you can create any color embellishment you need with just a marker.  The stamp set is from SU (the name is escaping me right now), and I used lucky limeade and calypso coral for the images.

One day I won't be so lazy and will take pictures with a camera instead of my phone so they will be clearer.

Take care -
Lisa
